Rijrasva

Rijrasva is a character mentioned in the Rig Veda who was blinded by his father.

Rijrasva is the name of a person stated in the Rig Veda. Rijrasva`s eyes were destroyed by his brutal father and he became sightless.

Rijrasva had been made blind for slaughtering one hundred and one sheep and supplied them to a female wolf to eat. The wolf having entreated the Asvins on behalf of her blind benefactor, they restore sight to Rijrasva.
