This movie explains relationship of today. This Bollywood movie stars Rahul Bose and Mallika Sherawat. It`s easy to fall in love but it`s really tough to maintain the relationship lifelong and there comes the power of commitment. The story tells the intricacies of love and its consequences.

Synopsis of `Pyar Ke Side Effect`
The story of Indian movie `Pyar Ke Side Effect` revolves around Sid and Trisha and their dilemma about the institute of marriage.

Sid played by Rahul Bose is a DJ. He is full of life and energy in his life. He finds himself playing music at Trisha`s played by Mallika Sherawat`s marriage to Vivek played by Jas Arora, in Delhi. In that marriage party he sees her fight and also her irresponsibility and attitude to her family members as well as parents. Eventually she leaves the groom and runs away from the ceremony.

The movie forwards by about six months. Sid again meets Trisha at a DJ contest in Mumbai. Sid seems depressed about loosing the contest. They get acquainted and soon fall in love. Before they understand that they are engaged they cross three long years. Trisha thinks that she is enough matured to get married and asks Sid to be ready for marriage. To propose Sid she even bends down and says that she is in love with him and wants to marry him. Here begins Sid`s confusion.

Sid is basically scared of any commitment and also can`t answer about his action. He tremendously loves Trisha and also wants to live with her. But as soon as she talks about marriage he takes a back step. Trisha on the other hand loves commitment, home, family, proper marriage, kids, etc. She wants to have a complete life. Sid tells everything to his sister Shalini played by Taraana Raja and seeks her help. One of the interesting characters is Nannu. He constantly tells negative about marriage. But one fine morning he comes to Trisha`s office and tells that he is ready for marriage. Though he was in same state of his mind, they get engaged and start shopping for their marriage.

Pyar Ke Side Effect,   Indian movie But as Sid was not ready from his heart he was not enjoying the whole thing. The thought of marriage becomes his nightmare and he starts hiding from Trisha. Everything that Trisha wants to do, Sid ruthlessly discards like shopping for furniture, buying engagement ring. He also does not like to meet Trisha`s father General Mallik who played by Sharat Saxena. Trisha`s father has many problems with Sid. He thinks that Sid doesn`t have a proper future. Once Trisha`s father tells him that his daughter a lot more than him. He also thinks that Sid is not enough responsible. Ultimately after a noisy quarrel with Trisha`s father, the couple breaks up. Trisha`s father wants his daughter to marry her ex-fiancé Vivek Chadda. Sid goes to Trish`s house to patch the things up on her birthday but finds Vivek throwing a party for her. He gets distracted and meets Baby Doll Tanya played by Sophie Chaudhary. He tries to get attached to her and forgets Trisha but miserably failed to do so. Trisha eventually decides to marry Vivek

As the story precede Sid tries a lot to forget Trisha. But finally he and his sister realise that his fear about commitment arises because of his disturbed childhood. Thanks to his mother who made him realize the fact. She tells him that Sid`s father abandoned him and his mother at his childhood. She tells her son i.e. Sid that is can become a great husband as he is not like his father. Sid is convinced now but it`s too late as Trisha is getting married to Vivek. Sid asks help from Trisha` friend Anjali played by Suchitra Pillai whom he used to call Dracula. She helps Sid to get into the marriage party and talk to her.

Sid finally manages Trisha and convinced her to run away with him. Trisha thus runs away twice from her marriage. The end part is quite hilarious when Sid and Trisha are running away and Vivek follows them with a horse. The film has a happy ending.

The movie is written and directed by Saket Chaudhury and Pritish Nandy Communication produces it. The music is given by Pritam while cinematography is done by Manoj Soni.
