Pritam Kotal was born on 9th August in the year 1993 in Uttarpara, West Bengal. He is an Indian footballer who plays as a defender for Mohun Bagan Athletic Club in the I-League. Pritam Kotal began his early career in football when he joined with Mohun Bagan Football Club.

Career of Pritam Kotal
Pritam Kotal signed for Pailan Arrows in the I-League for the 2011-2012 I-League season in the summer of 2011. Pritam Kotal then played in Pailan Arrow"s second victory of the season in a Round 23 match against HAL. Then on 5th January in the year 2013 Pritam Kotal scored his own goal against ONGC Football Club at the Ambedkar Stadium in an I-League match as Pailan lost 3-0. On 21st October 2013, Pritam Kotal announced that he has signed for Mohun Bagan Athletic Club. Pritam Kotal made his debut for Mohun Bagan in the I-League on 23rd October in the year 2013 against Salgaocar Football Club at the Salt Lake Stadium. There he came on as a substitute for Aiborlang Khongjee in the 85th minute as Mohun Bagan Athletic Club won the match 2-1.

Pritam Kotal has played with the Indian National Football Team in U-19 squad of national and international level before playing in three matches. With his speed and defensive skills, Pritam Kotal was marked out as a special talent. Arthur Papas called him for Indian National Football Team in U-23 before the 2013 AFC U-22 Asian Cup qualification in June 2012.

Pritam Kotal made his U-23 debut against Oman Football Team in U-23 with U-23 Indian National Football Team in last match of group stage. But unfortunately, U-23 Indian National Football Team lost the tie by 4-0. Pritam Kotal was selected in the Indian national football for a friendly football match against Palestine Football Team in the month of October but he did not played there.
