Post Massage SessionsPost Massage Sessions are the most important sessions, which are needed for every person getting the massage. In Post Massage Sessions, both the massage receiver and giver should relax in corpse posture or Savasana; it enables one to relax and increases the blood circulation. Massage is the manipulation of soft tissues in the human body, which is done by hands, fingers, elbows, knees, forearms, feet, or a device. The purpose of massage is generally for the treatment of body stress or pain, which is accumulated due to the activities of daily life. So, after the massage it is compulsory to rest for enough time in corpse posture.

Corpse Posture
Corpse posture is to lie on one`s back, putting the heals, knees and thighs together, keeping hands close to the waist, palms open and resting on the floor. One should then feel that they are getting numb; then think about the knees, thighs, stomach, criest, neck and head in the same manner and make them numb. Then he or she should not think about anything at the time of doing this posture; they should lie down like a dead body without any thinking and feeling.

Time Allotment before Post Massage Sessions
For persons who are physically weak or have a weak constitution, then the body massage should not be long and should commence with a time allotment of 15-20 minutes per session and increase to 30-35 minutes slowly. For those who daily take massage, 25-30 minutes of active massage is enough for them. For infants, new-born babies, massage should be given within 15 minutes. Old people need one hour or more for massage.

Time Needed for Post Massage Sessions
The time duration should be decided by the giver of the massage by seeing the physical state of the receiver. If the receiver is healthy and is taking massage for relaxation and as a device to improve health, and doesn"t have any pains or aches in the body, then the posture should not be done for more than 30-35 minutes. If there are tensions, aches, pain, numbness, poor circulation, then it should be done for longer time.
