Pinnattur Narayanacami Iyer

Pinnattur Narayanacami Iyer, also known as Pinnathur Narayanaswamy Aiyar, was a distinguished and revered author and scholar from Tamil Nadu who lived from the year 1862 to 1914. He has composed several literary works such as stories, novels, drama and essays in Tamil language that have gained ample recognition. Most of the Tamil literary works written by Pinnattur Narayanacami Iyer are popular and admired for their choice of diction and their competence to utilize emotions and move the hearts of readers. Although the well known Tamil author lived during the period when new literary forms were being attempted and implemented, yet he composed his works in the traditional manner. The literary works of Pinnattur Narayanacami Iyer have provided sufficient aid in the progress of the modern era in Tamil literature.
