College of Art
College of Art has been established under the Faculty of Music and Fine Art of Delhi University for encouraging training in visual and fine arts. Govt. of NCT of Delhi administers the College. It was formed as early as 1942 keeping in mind the objective of refining the insight of the student perception not restricted to professional skills only but also to form the sort of intelligence as well as emotional refinement to attain a level of creativity and thought as a whole. In a nutshell, it has taken the venture for grooming the students, so that they can create a mark in the creative domain of art and designing. In its period of continuation of more than sixty years, the College of Art, slow and steadily has reached a glorious position of international standards in the genre of fine art teaching in the country. Its faculty comprises painters, sculptors and graphic designers both of national and international fame.
