Parvin Dabas, Indian TV ActorParvin Dabas is an Indian actor, model and director. He is an actor and director, known for "My Name Is Khan" (2010), "Monsoon Wedding" (2001) and "Khosla Ka Ghosla!" (2006). He has been married to Preeti Jhangiani.

Early Life of Parvin Dabas
Parvin Dabas was born on 12th July 1974 in a Jat family of Dabas gotra. His family is from Kanjhawala, Delhi. He studied in Modern School Vasant Vihar, New Delhi and then in Hans Raj College, Delhi University.

Career of Parvin Dabas
Parvin Dabas made his film debut in the 1999 film "Dillagi" and played a key role in the Malayalam film "Ayyappantamma Neyyappam Chuttu" along with Antara Mali the following year, but "Monsoon Wedding" directed by Mira Nair launched him and has since appeared in over 10 Bollywood films.

He later starred in films such as "The Hero: Love Story of a Spy", "Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara" and "Khosla Ka Ghosla" for which he won acclaim. His role in Khosla Ka Ghosla, in which he played Anupam Kher"s son, was much liked. In 2005 he gave a guest appearance as "Sudhanshu" in "Sarabhai vs Sarabhai", a TV serial aired on STAR One directed by Deven Bhojani.

He directed his first film "Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande" (Right Job Wrong Guys) which released on 19th August 2011. He won a "Bronze Palm Award" at Mexico International Film Festival and a "Silver Remi Award" at Houston International Film Festival in the year 2011. The film was selected for the Indian Panorama section of the International Film Festival of India in 2011 held in Goa.
