Nikhil Nanda is the grandson of Raj Kapoor and the son of Ritu Kapoor-Nanda and industrialist Rajan Nanda.

Nikhil Nanda, Grandson Of Raj KapoorNikhil Nanda was born to the famous industrialist Rajan Nanda, Chairman, Escorts Group and Ritu Kapoor-Nanda. Nikhil Nada`s mother Ritu Nanda is Raj Kapoor`s second offspring and single largest Insurance Agent in India.

Nikhil completed his schooling from Doon School and further studied at the Wharton Business School, USA; here he majored in Finance and Management. He was selected as one of five `Indians who are global leaders of tomorrow` in 2002 by the World Economic Forum. Nikhil Nanda married Shweta Nanda, on 16th Feb 1997. Shweta is the daughter of movie stalwarts Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan. Nikhil and Shweta are blessed with two children - Navya Naveli and Agastya.

Nikhil is presently the Executive Director & Group Chief Operating Officer of Escorts Group. This company specializes in agri-machinery, construction & material handling equipment, railway equipment and auto components. Nikhil and his wife Shweta practice the Krav Maga (the Israeli form of fitness and Self defense) as their fitness regime.
