Manish Mehrotra, Indian ChefManish Mehrotra is among the best Chefs in India. He has won several awards for his works. He was recently on "Master Chef India 2015" as the "Guest Chef". Manish Mehrotra is the "Corporate Chef", Luxury Dining for "Old World Hospitality Pvt. Ltd." and heads the kitchens of "Indian Accent" in New Delhi, "Oriental Octopus" in New Delhi and Lavasa. Widely regarded as the most exciting modern Indian chef in the world presently, he calls his cooking style "Inventive Indian Cuisine", and describes it as Indian food with an international accent or the other way around.

Early Life of Manish Mehrotra
Manish Mehrotra was born in Patna, Bihar and spent most of his childhood in Patna. He did his schooling from St. Xavier"s High School, Patna and hotel management from Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai in 1996. Chef Manish Mehrotra developed an extreme liking for food production whilst pursuing a Hotel Management degree from Mumbai.

Career of Manish Mehrotra
Manish Mehrotra started his career by getting selected as the "Kitchen Management Trainee" for the Thai Pavilion at the erstwhile Taj President Hotel in Mumbai, where he mastered the art of Pan Asian cuisine and was with them for 5 years.

In 2001, Chef Manish moved to Old World Hospitality Pvt Ltd, based in New Delhi where he headed the Pan Asian kitchens at "Oriental Octopus", "Habitat World", "India Habitat Centre", New Delhi.

Indian Accent by Manish Mehrotra In 2009, he designed the path-breaking contemporary Indian menu of "Indian Accent", at "The Manor", New Delhi. The restaurant serves Indian food for the 21st century with a unique marriage of global ingredients and techniques with the flavours and traditions of India. Manish"s creativity is showcased by the unique amalgamation of the freshest local produce combining home style nostalgic tastes with unusual ingredients from across the world.

His brainchild "Indian Accent" has been awarded the "S. Pellegrino Best Restaurant in India". It also has the privilege of being the only restaurant in India to feature in the World 50 Best Restaurants 2015. National acclaim was marked by Indian Accent being deemed the Best Modern Indian Restaurant by Times Food and Nightlife Awards 2013. TripAdvisor has also ranked it the No. 1 Restaurant in India. Indian Accent has recently opened at "Le Parker Meridien", New York.

Taking the culinary journey at "Indian Accent" a step forward, Chef Manish launched the "Indian Accent Chef"s Table", a show kitchen where guests can learn more about his showmanship through his ardent storytelling.
