Lakshagriha

Lakshagriha finds its place in the ancient Indian epic Mahabharata. The conflict between the Kauravas and the Pandavas became so envious that the Kauravas wanted to kill the Pandavas secretly. Duryodhana plotted to get rid of the Pandavas.

Lakshagriha was the house of wax where the Pandavas used to stay. Meanwhile, Duryodhana wanted to set fire on the palace and kill the Pandavas. But their uncle, Vidura, warned the Pandavas. He sent a miner to the Pandavas to dig a tunnel for them to escape during emergency. Duryodhana was unaware of it and his servants set the house on flames. After escaping from there, the Pandavas arrived in a forest to take rest. Bhima and Arjuna wanted to avenge the Kauravas but Kunti and Yudhishthira did not allow him for the confrontation. Again, Bhisma went to the river Ganga to perform the last rites of the people found dead in the palace. He mistook them as the Pandavas. But Vidura informed him that the Pandavas were all alive and safe and urged him to keep it a secret.
