Kubja

In the epic Mahabharata, Kubja is said to be one of the female servants of Kansa, ruler of Mathura.

Kubja is distinguished for being deformed in shape. Lord Krishna met her in the high road carrying a pot of liniment. Krishna addressed her sportingly and asked for whom she was carrying that cream. Kubja replied mirthfully that she is the servant of Kansa and appointed to prepare his perfumes. Krishna asked her to give him some of the perfume. She gave him and Balarama as much of the unguent sufficient for them. Both Balarama and Krishna smeared their bodies with it, till they looked like two clouds, one white and one black, decorated by the many-tinted bow of Lord Indra. Then Krishna blessed her and made her perfectly straight. She was perfectively fit and thus relieved from her physical ailment. Kubja became the most beautiful women and invited lord Krishna to her house. He promised to visit her house in the future.
