Location of Karde Beach
Karde Beach is situated on the western part of Maharashtra Konkan coastline. A scenic half an hour drive from Dapoli will bring the visitors here. It is situated approximately 13 kilometres from Dapoli, Maharashtra.

Things to do in Karde Beach
Karde Beach is amongst the most popular beaches in Dapoli. Towards the southern side of Karde Beach, is Ladghar beach and towards the north is Murud Harnai beach. Ladghar or `Tamas Theertha` is another popular beach in Dapoli. One of the primary attractions of Karde Beach is dolphin watching.

A number of neighbouring tour operators set up dolphin watching trips in a number of boats for the tourists. The Sheoak plantations (Suruche Ban) which frame this beach are an ideal retreat for relaxing. Karde Beach is not dangerous for swimming. The view of the sunset is magnificent and breathtaking at Karde Beach. Paragliding and Bullock cart rides are also available at Karde Beach. Nearby Durga Devi temple is also another attraction of Karde Beach. The nightlife in Karde Beach is a perfect time for amusement. The camp fires, singing, dancing or simply taking a long walk gives one a soothing mind. The local stalls of Karde Beach offer the local Konkani vegetarian cuisines for the tourists also.

Visiting Information of Karde Beach
Karde Beach can be reached by road and train easily. Local Transport buses run between Dapoli and Karde regularly but in a small number. Karde beach can be simply reached by road from Mumbai, Pune, Satara and Kolhapur. Khed is the nearest railway station to arrive at Karde Beach. Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai is the nearest international airport.
