Junction Plots, Vastu ShastraJunction is the place where four or more roads meet together and form a circle or square in the middle. Plots that are situated on the both sides along these roads are called "Junction Plots."

Plot to the North-East of the Junction

•When the South-West corners of the West and South roads of a plot are cut off buildings and shops constructed on this plot can result in auspicious fruits. However they need to be constructed using the propositions of Vastu Shastra.

•Shops cannot prosper in a place where the South-West corner of the plot is round in shape. Hence do not construct a curved shaped building for shops. Instead, rectangular structures can be constructed in such a way that the curved part is left out. If required compound wall can be constructed in the curved place. But this building should not be curved at all.

•Vastu Shastra advises to have the staircase of this building in the South-West corner. With this move the plot of land will also be put to use and the South-West corner that is cut off becomes heavy.

•The extra space within a shop can be used for a restaurant, lodging, gardening, swimming pool and others.

Plot to the North-West of the Junction

•A plot with roads on the East and South of the plot and the South - East corner of the plot is cut off can also be put to use by following the percepts of Vastu Shastra.

•There is no South-East corner to the plot that is located on the North-West side of the junction. The space where the corner is cut off can be used for the construction of a hotel, garden or restaurant building.

•Shops are also welcome here. After utilizing the entire place according to the basic principles of this ancient science the remaining open space can be used as buildings for godowns (granary) or separate lodgings can be constructed.

Plot to the South-West of the Junction

•Book Depot or Cloth Stores will be perfect on these kinds of plots. If in a plot the North-East corner is cut off the importance of the plot is reduced.

•Do not build shops near the cut off corners as these are not at all profitable. Neither shops for heavy goods nor hotels should be constructed near this corner.

•Vastu Shastra to construct a curved building along the cut-off corner. The curved part of the plot must be avoided as far as possible and the construction of a rectangular building will prove profitable.

•On the remaining space of the plot it is beneficial to construct a building for lodging or super-market.

Plot to the South-East of the Junction

•In certain plots one will come across two roads. One lies to the West and other to the North. The North-West corner in these plots can be cut off. If this is the case then such plots will prove quite fruitful for shops.

•But the building constructed here should be square. In the cut off part of the plot parking can be constructed.

•After arranging the shops according to the tenets of Vastu Shastra the remaining space can be conveniently be used for constructing lodging, health-club, and godown for heavy materials, accident-hospital and others.
