She was born on June 28th, 1990 in New Delhi. Jasmin grew up in New Delhi and later settled in Mumbai.

Career of Jasmin Bhasin
She began her career with modelling and has worked for several well known brands like Chennai Diamonds, Pepsi, Hindustan Petroleum, Nokia, Herbal life, Sleep well mattresses, Colgate Toothpaste etc. Her work for Colgate that released in 2012 helped her grab the attention of several film makers and producers. She debuted in the film industry with the Tamil film Vaanam in the year 2011 where she was a part of an ensemble cast. She essayed the role of a "fresh-out-of-college girl" and love interest of the main lead character played by Silambarasan. Then in the year 2014, she made her debut in the Kannada and Telugu film industries with Karodpathi and Veta. Her work in Veta did not garner appreciation and received very negative reviews. Her next venture was "Ladies and Gentlemen". The film presented her in the role of a struggling model.

In 2015, Jasmin won the Zee Rishtey Awards in the categories Favourite New Jodi with co-star Sidhant Gupta and Favourite Maa- Beti with her onscreen mother Vaishanvi Mahant. Both of these awards are for her Zee TV show, Tashan E-Ishq. The following year, Jasmin also bagged the Best Female Debut award for the Gold Awards for Tashan E-Ishq. In 2017, Jasmin was awarded with the Power Packed Performer award in the Gold Petal Awards for performance in the Colors TV show, Dil Se Dil Tak.
