Hussain Ajij Kurbu is an Indian cyclist and he is a cycle champion from Maharashtra. He came from the poor family but with his sheer determination and struggle, he clinched the medals from national and international competitions.

Hussain Ajij Kurbu won three gold medals in a row winning National road cycling championships organised by Cycling Federation of India, since the year 2010. Hussain Ajij Kurbu came into being as a successful cyclist which his determination to grab the Champion"s Trophy from many national and international based cycling competition that are organised by Cycling federation of India with the keen sponsorship from Hero Cycle, Honda, Godrej and many more established companies in India. Hussain Ajij Kurbu also runs for the social awareness programmes that are based in Mumbai, Pune, Indore and Goa.

Early Life of Hussain Ajij Kurbu
Hussain Ajij Kurbu was born in the year 1990. Hussain Ajij Kurbu was born in a poor family and didn`t afford to buy a racing cycle. He made his cycle by purchasing the parts by parts in total two years (2001-2003) and used the same cycle to practice and win races. The father of Hussain Ajij Kurbu was working to a Bakery shop and his mother used to work in neighbours home. He is the brother of one elder and two younger sisters.

Career of Hussain Ajij Kurbu
Hussain Ajij Kurbu appeared in the Cycle Federation of India`s competition for the first time at the age of 13 in 2003 and won a bronze medal. Hussain Ajij Kurbu won the same next year too, in 2004. Hussain Ajij Kurbu used his prize money getting his sisters married. Hussain Ajij Kurbu is now the captain of the Maharashtra Cycling team. Despite being a national champion, he still works at his cycle`s shop.

Hussain Ajij Kurbu secured first place in the Full Cyclothon category of Godrej Eon Tour de India-2013, the world`s biggest cycling event organised by Cycle Federation of India in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Hussain Ajij Kurbu secured first place in Prime Sprint (Panvel), Khopoli Prime and Kamshet Prime categories of the 52nd edition of India`s oldest ever cycle race, the National Mumbai-Pune cycling, which was held on 13th January 2013.
