Heyy Baby, Indian movie Set in Sydney, Heyy Baby is an out and out comedy, which people of all age groups would love to watch .The movie begins with the peppy title track and brings into light the Casanova trio Aroush (Akshay Kumar), Al (Fardeen Khan) and Tanmay (Riteish Deshmukh), shaking legs with blossoming beauties in a happening nightclub. They lead a carefree life spending their time in wooing and charming women, irrespective of their aesthetic appeals.

However, fate had something in store for these coquettish trios when a baby as beautiful and innocent as an angel, lands up at their doorstep one day. Confusion begins as in who is the father of the baby at the same time desperate attempts are made to trace her mother. A real transformation dawns on the three when they start handling the wailing baby. Their patience takes a high toll and unable to bear this any longer the threesome decide to get rid of the infant.

Heyy Baby, Indian movie However an unexpected turn of events invokes their conscience as they realize their abhorrent folly. It changes their lives along with their attitude towards the baby. They name her Angel and realize the importance of parenting and the abundant joy associated with it .The story here takes the second turn with the entry of Angel`s mother Isha (Vidya Balan) who takes away the baby. Beautiful Isha knows about heartbreak and will do anything to avenge that betrayal even if it means taking the child and breaking the hearts of three men .In the flashback it is shown Isha was one of Akshay`s previous girlfriends and had been told by her father that the child had died soon after it was born. Now Isha wants her baby back but by now fatherly instincts pour in and three men refuse to part with the little one. Arush`s love for Isha delves deeper. The rest of the story is again predictable as any other Hindi movie.

The second half of the movie begins at the point where Fardeen and Riteish go at lengths to get the baby back. Overall, the movie is laden with slapstick humor and funny dialogues. While the first part of the movie is funny and fast moving, the second part deals with the emotional side of the story.

Akshay Kumar is matchless with his comic style and actors like Ritesh, Fardeen, Boman Irani and of course Vidya Balan in her new avtar has added an artistic dimension to Heyy baby. However the star of the show is truly the baby. Sajid Khan`s debut this movie is therefore a must watch for its comic element.
