Gyangong Ani Gompa

Gyangong Ani Gompa is a nunnery located in Tawang District of Arunachal Pradesh. It houses almost 50 Buddhist nuns. The ani gompa was founded by Mera Lam Lodre Gyamtso.

The nunnery is located on the top of a hillock about 5 km away in the north of Tawang. It was founded by Mera Lam Lodre Gyamtso and was offered by him to his elder sister. This ani gompa is controlled by the Tawang Monastery.
