Guru Har Krishan Ji, Indian SaintGuru Har Krishan Ji was among the most famous Gurus of the Sikh community and he was also among the most successful successors of Guru Har Rai. He became the Sikh Guru in the year of 1661 and after the death of Guru Har Rai, he asked his disciples, not to give way to despair but abide by the will of the Almighty. He directed his descendants that everyone should sing the praises of God and no body should weep or lament any time.

Guru Har Krishan Ji had an extraordinary and phenomenal ability of mentioning quotes or passages from the Holy Granth and he reminded his disciples to cherish the one God alone. He asked his descendants to discard the passions and learn the virtues of patience, charity and love. He had a very simple and pragmatic view about life and he said, "Both happiness and suffering are part of life. He who has faith gains all. He who is without faith acquires but little. The body is mortal. Daily bow your head to it. So will you conquer your passion and attain liberation".
