Geetha Sundaresan has been reckoned as well-established vocalist who has obtained M.A. in music from the Madras University. She was trained under Padmasree D. K. Pattammal and Smt. Sulochana Pattabhiraman. Geetha Sundaresan has participated in inter collegiate music competitions and in light classical music competition conducted by the All India Radio in the year 1975 and fetched many prizes.
Geetha Sundaresan has been recognized All India Radio artiste and executed in leading sabhas in Chennai during the music season. She has also and given programmes in Doordarshan. In Tamil Sangam, Asianet music festival in Muscat and Indian Fine Arts association in Dubai, she has executed. Geetha Sundaresan has also released audiocassettes for classical, light classical and dance music along with renowned artistes to her credit. For the last several years she has been teaching music for many students in Muscat as she resides there.
