Gayatri Iyer, Indian SingerGayatri Iyer is a celebrated Indian playback singer. From the tender age of five years, she started learning Carnatic music. She first started learning Hindustani music in college. She in the recent past portrayed the part of Princess Anjuli in the West End of London musical production of M. M. Kaye`s `The Far Pavilions`. This was opened in summer 2007. Apart from being an accomplished playback singer, Gayatri Iyer also obtained her graduation degree from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow. Rather than establishing herself in the corporate field, she chose to settle her career as a leading playback singer in Bollywood.

At the beginning of her career, when Gayatri was anchoring her career by singing jingles, she met her husband Kunal Ganjawala. Kunal Ganjawala is himself a successful Indian playback singer.
