The gates are Alamgir Darwaza in Mandu, Bhopal Gate in Bhopal, Entrance Gate of Taj-ul-Masajid in Bhopal, Entrance of Moti Masjid in Bhopal, Gate of Teli Mandir in Gwalior, Hathi Pol at Gwalior Fort, Sanchi Gateways in Sanchi, Ratlami Gate in Jaora, Badalgarh Gate at Gwalior Fort, Gadi Darwaza in Mandu. Some of the Gates in Madhya Pradesh have been detailed below.

Badalgarh Gate
Badalgarh Gate is the second gate on the eastern part of the Gwalior Fort. It was named after Badal Singh, who was Man Singh"s uncle.

Gadi Darwaza
Gadi Darwaza gate in Mandu is consisted of double arched openings and massive walls on either side. There is a guard room also attached to the gate complex. It appears to have been erected in circa 15th century AD.

Hathi Pol
Hathi Pol at the Gwalior Fort is located on the southeast portion of the fort and it leads to the Man Mandir Palace. Hathi Pol is the last of the series of seven gates. It was named for a statue of an elephant which once adorned the gate. The gate was built of stone with cylindrical towers crowned with cupola domes; carved parapets link the domes.

Sanchi Gateways
Sanchi Gateways or the Toranas at Sanchi depict various scenes from the life of Gautama Buddha, as well as the events after his death. Especially, the War of the Relics and the efforts of Emperor Ashoka to spread the Buddhist faith have been manifested. There are five gateways or Toranas at Sanchi in particular.
