Fauladi Singh, Characters in Indian Comics SeriesFauladi Singh is a famous character in Indian comics series published by Diamond Comics group. Fauladi Singh, known as the protector of mankind, was a science fiction character originally written by Rajiv during 1970-1980. After the comics achieved success, the plotline was written and constructed by Ashu and illustrated by Jugal Kishor. Fauladi Singh comics was rather advanced in terms concept, presentation and artwork.

Concept of Fauladi Singh
The concept of Fauladi Singh was mainly based in the science fiction genre. Dr. John is an exceptional scientists who conducts various experiments and researches in his laboratoty, situated on an island in the middle of the Indian Ocean. He empowered Fauladi Singh, also called Faulad with advanced supernatural and mystical powers. Fauladi Singh was given a costume that protected and shielded him from various attacks on earth as well in outer space. Lambu was another vital character who shrinks to 9 inches after drinking a serum formulated by Dr. John. Lambu assists Dr. John and Fauladi Singh on their various adventures and space explorations. The team of Faulad, Dr. John, Lambu, master computers Bharat and Antarikshak along with the rocket Dorf protect the earth from several hostilities from aliens and beings from other hostile planets and galaxies.

Although the character of Fauladi Singh was immensely popular during the 1980s, but gradually it failed to attract the attention of the new and younger readers and thus was unable to maintain its popularity.
