Ekoddishta-Sradda is a servile offering on account of a kinsman recently deceased. These are performed monthly. The proper periods of mourning are ten days. On each day offerings of cakes and libations of water were to be made to the deceased, augmenting the number of cakes each day, so that in the last day ten cakes are presented.
