Divya Kakran is a freestyle wrestler from India who has won 60 Medals including 17 Gold for Delhi State Championship and become Bharat Kesari for eight times. She lives at Gokulpur in East Delhi. She comes from North Delhi and belongs to a middle class family. Her Father Suraj Kakran sells "Langots" and her mother stitches it at home. She is studying BPES from Noida College of Physical Education at Dadri.
Career of Divya Kakran
Divya Kakran won a gold medal in the Commonwealth Championship held in South Johannesburg, Africa in December 2017. She won a silver medal in the Women`s freestyle 69 kilogram event at the 2017 Asian Wrestling Championships in India. In 2017 Senior National Championship, she won Gold and in All India University Championship 2017, she won Gold as well. She won silver in Asian Wrestling Championship as well in 2017. In 2018 Bharat Kesri Dangal, she won Bharat Kesri Title held in Bhiwani District, Haryana. Before this final match Divya defeated international champion girl Geeta Phogat.
