DevaShard is an Indian comics that is adapted from the Sanskrit epic the Mahabharata. The story of DevaShard focuses on Karna as their central character.

DevaShard, Indian ComicsDevaShard is an Indian comics series published and distributed by Fluid Friction Comics in 2008. The concept of DevaShard is inspired from the ancient Hindu epic Mahabharata and portrays the character of Karna as its main protagonist. The story of the comics focuses on the life story of Karna, which is illustrated graphically. DevaShard is set in the fictional epic world of Bhumi and provides a vivid account of the one who was robbed of his birthright and thrown into the land of darkness. Bhumi is a magical world filled with fierce beasts, cursed demons and powerful gods. The story depicts the journey of the protagonist to become a lethal warrior, while he manages to survive and vanquish the evil forces that are threatening to destroy him.

The story of DevaShard is set in the mystical world oh Bhumi that contains various lands, namely, Noctundra, Umbrastra, Dahka, Sundirral, Lisilt, Shya, Shyatha, Eathaar, Uundan, Gandess, Aansai, Llindra, Hylindra, Nysathor, Rhu-Nagah and Im-Himna. Each of these lands has different landscapes, weather patterns and their own varieties of wildlife. The people of each of the lands have different appearances, culture, civilisations and history.

DevaShard: At First Light is the first in the series and also the initial publication of Fluid Friction Comics. The series consists of a total of 25 graphically illustrated comics, with each issue containing 52 pages.
