Dasarna is a river, which has mention in the Puranas. Dasarna is identified in the Dhosaun in Bundlekhand.

Dasarna is also a place mentioned in a Kalidasa`s Cloud Messenger. Dasarna is said to be derived from Dasa, which means ten. And the term `Rina` means a stronghold or Durga, the Droog of the Peninsula and means the District of the ten citadels.
