Company, Indian filmThe Indian film, `Company` is an impressive and fascinating film about gang wars and the police, featuring Ajay Devgan, Monisha Koirala, Mohanlal and Vivek Oberoi. This movie is Vivek Oberoi`s debut venture after which he puts a firm step in the industry. This movie is somehow based on Indian mafia organization. This is named as D-Company and this is run by Dawood Ibrahim. This is by far regarded as the finest effort of Ramgopal Varma.

Synopsis of `Company`
The Indian film `Company` is the saga of two friends Chandu played by Vivek Oberoi and Malik played by Ajay Devgan. Chandrakant or Chandu is a young man raised in the slums by an encouraging and supporting mother played by Seema Biswas who desires a life of wealth and fame. He finds solace and friendship in Malik, who introduces the boy to a life of crime. On their journey of crime and murder, the two men fall in love, Malik with the street-smart and spirited Saroja played by Manisha Koirala, while Chandu begins seeing Kannu played by Antara Mali.

Soon Chandu becomes Malik`s trusted and favorite sidekick. Together they start a company to further extend their activities and excel in the underworld. Both of them are deadly, fearless and completely callous about death. They wouldn`t blink an eye before shooting their enemies point blank. Things hot up after the persistent Mumbai cop Srinivasan played by Mohanlal gets on their trail. As a result the duo shifts their base to Hong Kong and move there with their girlfriends. They continue to operate their company from a far through their henchmen.

Company, Indian film Gradually Chandu becomes aware of different tricks of this trade and learns how to increase the profit. However, both Chandu and Malik come into a dispute regarding the murder of a politician. Various misunderstanding starts taking place between Chandu and Malik. The Police Commissioner, Sreenivasan played by Mohanlal tries to take the advantage out of their quarrel and thus to control the gang.

Chandu and Malik become enemies. Both Chandu and Malik now try to eliminate members of each other`s gang. This ends up starting an intense gang war. Malik hires a person to kill Chandu. Chandu somehow survives after the attack. Misunderstanding between the two friends reaches to its height when the police commissioner convinces Chandu to help police against Malik. He tells to come back to Mumbai and reveals the unknown truth to the police service. The film rolls with the killing of many persons. It eventually reaches its end when Chandu murders the politician behind all these plans. He was in a prison and Chandu kills him there. Chandu surrenders to the police and tells everything to the commissioner as well.

Cast and Crew of `Company`
The star cast of the film `Company` includes Ajay Devgan, Mohanlal, Manisha Koirala, Seema Biswas, Vivek Oberoi, Antara Mali, Akash Khurana, Madan Joshi, Bharat Dabholkar, Ganesh Yadav, Mukesh Bhatt, and Isha Koppikar in a very special role. The film is directed by Ramgopal Varma and produced by Boney Kapoor. The music of the film is given by Sandeep Chowta while Cinematography is done by Hemant Chaturvedi.

The Indian film `Company` is an award winning film that has won many awards in different category. Ajay Devgan and Manisha Koirala has got filmfare critic`s award for best performance, Jaideep Sahni has got award for best dialogue, and Vivek Oberoi as filmfare best debut. The film also got IIFA awards for technical excellence in best action, best editing. South Indian actor Mohanlal got IIFA best supporting actor award.
