Interpretation of Balarama Das"s Song
In one of his songs, Balarama Das represented the priest of a temple as the lover of Krishna. The priest always remains mesmerized by the beauty of the God. He waved five lights before the idol of Krishna and burns incense and prepare floral wreaths for it. Balarama Das"s songs show that passionate devotion breaks the barriers between the finite and the infinite, and the soul ascends to heaven from earth.
