Baina Beach, GoaBaina Beach is situated in the port town of Mormugao, Goa. It is a splendid beach of Goa and a beautiful tourist destination. This crescent shaped beach lies between the Zuari Nagar hills on the right and the Dabolim plateau to the left. Baina Beach is famed as the site of India"s first ever underwater sea walk. In olden days, Baina beach was infamous for certain obnoxious activities; however, later with the efforts of Indian Government in the year of 2004 Baina beach has been developed as a beautiful tourist spot.

Baina Beach is also a popular beach for hosting a number of Ayurvedic and Kerala massage centres. The peaceful ambience of the beach is very relaxing for the visitors. Local shops stand at the beach sell exquisite traditional Goan crafts including shell work, brass ware and terracotta which are being picked up by the tourists. Baina beach is the perfect place to soak in the picturesque landscapes. Baina beach forms the closest point to the Virgin Islands which has still not been destroyed by human kind.

Fishing is also popular among the tourists as several fishing points are located in Baina Beach. Evening walks and swimming are greatly cherished here. The beach is also popular for water sports. There is a Japanese Garden near the Baina beach, which is another tourist attraction. The garden has a rich story and history behind it. Bat Island lies at a distance of 1 kilometre from the beach which can be seen from the beach. The beach is also popular for cultural programs. Tourists can witness some cultural programs taking place in Baina Beach and can enjoy the cultural programs with the beach festivals which are organized from time to time.

Visiting Information of Baina Beach
Reaching Baina beach is quite easy as the beach is well connected to rest of the Goa. Since beach is located near Vasco Da Gama city, one can arrive at by bus, cab or bike. There is regular bus service from Vasco Da Gama. There are also regular buses from Panaji and other cities via Vasco to Baina.
