Arvind Swamy, Indian ActorArvind Swamy was born on 30th June 1970 and is a popular Tamil actor. Arvind studied in Sishya School and later in Don Bosco and completed his schooling in 1987. He graduated in Commerce in Loyola College, Chennai. He went on to study his Masters in Business Administration in Wake Forest University in North Carolina, USA. He returned to India due to his mother`s ill health and unfortunately lost both his parents in 1993. He married Gayathri Ramamurthy in 1994 but the couple soon separated. Currently Arvind lives with his two children Rudra (son) and Adhira (daughter) in Chennai. He had been the chairman and managing director of ProLease India and InterPro India. However, he left both companies in 2005 and is currently the Chairman and MD of Talent Maximus. Talent Maximus is engaged in Payroll Processing and Employee administration. His company is the fastest growing service provider in its field of operation

Film Career of Arvind Swamy
Arvind Swamy, Indian Actor Mani Ratnam introduced Arvind`s film career through the film Thalapathi. His first film as lead hero was Mani Ratnam`s film Roja which became a hit throughout the country and is still considered as one of the treasured works of Mani Ratnam. Arvind Swamy`s impressive performance established his position as an actor. He was very choosy about his roles in the film offers that came his way. Though he has acted in a lesser number of movies, most of them are blockbusters and has been greatly rated by film critics. He has acted in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi. Popular movies to his credit include Minsaara Kanavu, Roja, Bombay, Devaraagam, Indira and Alaipayuthey.

Roja and Bombay, both having a national essence theme won many awards at the State and National levels. Arvind has been awarded with several awards popular and critical for his films. Arvind Swamy retired from acting in 2000 inspite of his superstar status to pursue other interests.
