After "Thadaiyara Thaakka", Arun starred in "Yennai Arindhaal", playing the role of the antagonist Victor in the film. Arun`s performance brought an overwhelming response from the audience. He was well appreciated for his dedication and hard work, while his work was also recognised with the Edison Award for Best Villain, at the Edison Awards of the Tamil film industry.
