Steps of Back Leg Massage
The steps of back leg massage are simple and can be done even at home at one"s convenient time. The steps of the massage technique are as follows:


•For this massage use the effleurage oil as for the front of the legs but working from the foot right up to the top of the thigh. Then repeat it 4 or 5 times.
•Bend the leg at the knee, supporting it with one hand. Stroke firmly down the calf, across behind the knee, then back up to the foot several times keeping the hands contoured to the leg. Then put the leg down.
•Work up the calf to the knee, using little circles. Repeat several times to cover the whole calf.
•Using the index and middle finger, make small circular movements behind the knee. Be careful not to press too hard.
•Squeeze rhythmically along the inner thigh from the knee upwards. Repeat on the outer thigh, doing each movement several times.
•Diagonally stroke from the inner knee upwards and across the thigh. Repeat several times.
•Effleurage the whole leg several times, from foot to thigh. Wrap up and repeat on the other leg.
