Apurvi Chandela, Shooters in IndiaApurvi Chandela is an Indian shooter who won bronze in the Women`s 10 metres air rifle at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast. She did her schooling from Mayo College Girls School Ajmer and Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls` School, Jaipur.

She studied Sociology honours from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University. She was born to a Chandela Rajput family in Jaipur. Her father`s name is Kuldeep Singh Chandela, a hotelier and mother is Bindu Rathore.

Career of Apurvi Chandela
In 2012, Apurvi Chandela won the gold medal in the 10 metres air rifle event at the National shooting championships in New Delhi. Apurvi also won the gold medal in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. In the same year she won four medals at the Intershoot Championships at The Hague, that included two individual and two team medals. She was qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympics in the women`s 10metres air rifle event, where she finished at 34th position in the qualification round out of 51 contestants. Recently she won bronze in the Women`s 10 metre air rifle at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast.
