The quest of Aarti Shrivastava to tell human stories with a vision to drive change led her to produce documentaries, which got her critical acclamation globally.

Early Career of Aarti Shrivastava
Aarti Shrivastava started her career as a news reporter working with CNBC. She later worked as a researcher on an Australian Documentary based on Mumbai terror attack of 26/11 before directing her two Award winning documentaries titled Land of widows and White Knight (Documentary), which were well received in the international festival circuit including Official Nomination in 7th Al-Jazeera International Documentary Film Festival Doha 2011.

Documentaries of Aarti Shrivastava
In 2013, Aarti Shrivastava directed her third documentary titled Foresting Life which won the National Award for its earthly look at a man, forest he created all by himself, and the heroic effort that is necessary to sustain that forest without any government help. This documentary focuses on the life of Jadav Payeng who single handedly planted trees over the last 35 years and transformed a 1400 acre sandbar into a self sustaining forest ecosystem.

Besides Managing Humanity Watchdog Foundation, which was conceptualized while Aarti Shrivastava was studying social entrepreneurship at Stanford University, Aarti Shrivastava also manages mega budget commercial Bollywood film projects like Kick, My Name Is Khan, and reality show "Sur Kshetra".
