Erumaipatti is located in Namakkal district of the southern state of India, Tamil Nadu. Namakkal, the district headquarters is located at a distance of 15 km. southeast of Erumaipatti. The Karur Junction Railway Station is the nearest railway station and the Tiruchirapalli airport and Salem airport are the nearest airports.
As per the 2001 census report, Erumaipatti had a small population of 9303 inhabitants. Males constitute 51% of the population and females constitute 49% of the population. In Erumaipatti, 10% of the population is less than six years of age. Erumaipatti has an average literacy rate of 71%, which is higher than the national average literacy rate of 59.5%. The male literacy rate is 79% while the female literacy rate is 63%.
