Erandol is a charming town in Jalgaon district in the western state of India, Maharashtra. Jalgaon is located in the southwest at a distance of 30 km. NH 6 passes through Erandol. The Jalgaon Junction Railway Station is the nearest railway station. Erandol in Maharashtra is located between 20.92° North latitude and 75.33° East longitude at a height of 227 metres (744 feet) above mean sea level.
According to the 2001 Indian census report, Erandol in Maharashtra had a population of 30,120 inhabitants. Males constitute 52% of the population and females constitute 48% of the population. In Erandol, 13% of the population is less than six years of age. The town has an average literacy rate of 65% which is higher than the national average literacy rate of 59.5%. The male literacy rate is 72% and the female literacy rate is 57%.
The major tourist attractions of Erandol include Padmalaya (5 km), Swinging Towers of Farkande (16 km) and Pandava's Vada.
