Eklingji is a small ancient town set in Udaipur district in the western state of India, Rajasthan. Udaipur is located at a distance of 22 km. north of Eklingji. The town of Eklingji has about seventy temples, which belong to the 11th century.
The Shiva Temple is believed to be the ruling deity of Mewar. The town is dotted with numerous temples, the most famous are the Sas Bahu marble temple of the 11th century, black marble Adbhudji Jain temple of the 15th century, Pataleshwar Mahadev, Arbada Mata, Rathasan Devi, Vindhyavasini Devi are the other famous temples around the town. The town is well connected by road from Udaipur.
