Traditional Dress of Angami Naga Tribe comprises a wide variety of shawls. Apart from the shawl, the typical working clothing is a kilt commonly of black colour. It looks stunning on both men and women and popular for its unique style in Nagaland. The shawl is embroidered with exceptional cowries. Both men and women enjoy wearing beautiful ornaments like beads, miniature mask pendants, bangles and bracelets.

The Angami Naga male uses kilt and wrapper. He also uses a white cotton cloth tied around his waist. A kilt looping down to the knee is an Angami Naga male’s typical waist dress. Rich men wear specially designed shawls.

Females use skirt, shawl and apron. Most of the females wear traditional dresses. Angami Naga females wear a skirt which is a sort of cloth. It is used by rolling it along the waist and loops down to cover the legs.
