![]() Aishbagh Stadium, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh Aishbagh Stadium is a field hockey stadium located in Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh. It has a seating capacity of more than 10,000 people. In 2009, a newly laid poly grass and flood light system was unveiled at the stadium. After that most of the international hockey tournaments are played here. It is the home venue for the World Series Hockey team, Bhopal Badshahs. The Obaidullah Gold Cup hockey tournament is the major International tournament organized every year. In 2014, Aishbagh Stadium hosted 4th Hockey India Senior Women National Championship 2014 (Division B) final where Assam beat Himachal Pradesh by 3-2. International Hockey Stadium, Raipur, Chhattisharh Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Hockey Stadium or Raipur International Hockey Stadium is field hockey stadium located in Raipur, in the Central Indian State of Chhattisgarh. It is the second international blue astroturf hockey stadium after International Hockey Stadium in Rajnandgaon, which was dedicated to public in August 2014. This international hockey stadium is named after the eminent Indian politician of British Era who was also known as the "Iron Man" of India- Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He was famous in the field of modernist Indian independence activism and statesmanship in the first era of Indian political hemisphere. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Hockey Stadium or Raipur International Hockey Stadium was constructed in record time, in a span of four months before it was inaugurated in November 2015. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Hockey Stadium is set to host the 2014-15 Men's World League Final, in December 2015. Raipur International Hockey Stadium, Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh International Hockey Stadium, which is better known as Raipur International Hockey Stadium, is an international based hockey stadium located in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. The stadium is Chhattisgarh's first international astroturf hockey stadium, spread over an area of nearly 9.5 acres. State Governor Shekhar Dutt and Chief Minister Raman Singh dedicated this international hockey stadium to public in January 2014. The exhibition match between Governor's Eleven and CM's Eleven comprising some international players, including Indian hockey men's squad skipper Sardara Singh, Harjot Singh, Affan Yousuf, Lalit Upadhyay and others, also was played the occasion. This was the second key international standard sports infrastructure envisioned by Raman Singh which was built by the State Government after the Raipur International Cricket Stadium came up at Naya Raipur in the central Indian state of Chhattisgarh. |
