Prashant Raj Sachdev is a model and actor from Mumbai who debuted in Ram Gopal Varma’s remake of Ramesh Sippy’s "Sholay". The remake is titled "Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag". He was on a team with model Sahil Shroff from the AXN Network’s "The Amazing Race Asia" reality TV show, in their first Asian season.

Prashant Raj Sachdev was born on 9th January, 1980, in Mumbai. As a youth, he got his education from Bombay Scottish School, Mumbai and Delhi Public School, R. K. Puram, New Delhi in 1998. He completed his graduation from Delhi’s Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi.
Career of Prashant Raj Sachdev
After completing his studies, Prashant Raj Sachdev stepped into the world of modelling. His tall frame, intense brooding eyes and his attitude on the ramp made him an accomplished runway model. Prashant’s first print ad was for ‘Benzer’ in 2000. Since then he appeared in several Lakme India Fashion Week shows in Mumbai and Delhi and has done print campaigns and ramp shows in India, Sri Lanka and Ecuador. He has also appeared in music videos and TV shows.
Prashant Raj Sachdev landed the role played by Amitabh Bachchan in Ramesh Sippy’s "Sholay", remade by Ram Gopal Varma as "Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag". In the film, he played the role of ‘Raj’, originally played by Amitabh Bachchan as ‘Jai’. His second film, "Toss", was released 28th August 2009. It was also the debut vehicle for Roadies' Rannvijay Singh and Madhhurima, and the film co-stars Aarti Chhabria and Ashmit Patel.
