Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin, known as Shaku Bai Rao Gaikwad the film graphic designer, producer and director, primarily works in the Tamil film industry. The directorial debut of Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin was supposed to be Sultan: The Warrior, a 3D animated film featuring her father Rajinikanth. Despite heavy pre-production promotion, including a teaser of the film and an interactive website, the film was dropped. She instead directed Kochadaiiyaan, with Rajinikanth in the lead role. Through Kochadaiiyaan, Soundarya earned the distinction of becoming the first woman to direct her father in a feature film

Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin was born on 20th September in the year 1984. Soundarya is the younger daughter of Rajinikanth and his wife Latha Rajinikanth. Shaku Bai Rao Gaikwad who is also known as Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin or Soundarya R Ashwin is a film graphic designer, producer and director who primarily work in the Tamil film industry.

Career of Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin
Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin is also the founder and chief executive of Ocher Picture Productions. In 2007, Ocher Studios signed an agreement with Warner Bros. Entertainment to partner up in producing and distributing Tamil films. The directorial debut was Sultan: The Warrior, a 3D animated film featuring her father Rajinikanth. She directed Kochadaiiyaan, India`s first motion capture film, with Rajinikanth in the lead role. Through Kochadaiiyaan, Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin earned the distinction of becoming the first woman to direct her father in a feature film.

Personal Life of Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin
Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin married Ashwin Ramkumar, an industrialist, on September 3, 2010 at Rani Meyyammai Hall in Chennai. Soundarya and Ashwin have dated each other about 4 years. Her elder sister is Aishwarya Rajinikanth. Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin"s first child, a son, Ved was born on May 6, 2015.
