Preeti Aneja is an Indian Movie director. She is known for directing the short film Kala Paani. The film garnered her many awards including Best Young Film-maker Award at 3rd Nashik International Film Festival.

Early Life of Preeti Aneja
She was born on 26 July in Hisar in the Indian state of Haryana. She received her primary education from Campus School, Hisar. She did her post graduation in psychology. She then joined to do an LLB but later due to her interest in films, joined Whistling Woods International Institute for a diploma in film direction.

Career of Preeti Aneja
Preeti started her career as an assistant director. She worked in around ten films before making her own film. Her first directorial venture was Kala Paani which released in the year 2011. This short film revolves around the customary practices of the rural panchayats in Haryana. It won several awards. It was screened at New York Indian Film Festival 2011. Apart from directing the film, Preeti has also designed the costumes. She is presently running her own production house AAP Productions.

Preeti tied the knot with Amrit Aneja. The couple is blessed with a son named Astitva Aneja.

Achievements of Preeti Aneja
She bagged Dadasaheb Phalke Golden Camera Award for her diploma film Kala Paani at the 3rd Jaipur International Film Festival.

She was declared as the Best Young Film-maker at 3rd Nashik International Film Festival for Kala Paani. She won Haryana State Cultural Award in 2011.
