Location of Bavojigudem
Bavojigudem is a village located at about 13 kilometres from Maripeda, the Mandal headquarters, in Warangal District of Telangana. The neighbouring villages are Venkampadu, Neelukurti, and Giripuram. Previously this village, Bavojigudem was under the control of the neighbouring Village Panchayat of Neelukurthi. Ten years ago, the village has got a separate gram panchayat with a sarpanch as its head.

Demography of Bavojigudem
Bavojigudem has a population of approximately 1000, consisting of 55 percent of males and 45 percent of females. Only 30 percent to 40 percent of the village population is literate. The official voter list consists of 700 to 800 members.

Economy of Bavojigudem
The main occupation of the villagers of Bavojigudem is agriculture. In the past, some villagers have also migrated to distant places like Surat in Gujarat to make higher wages and to have a better life. The village also consists of 3 Lambadi thandas located at some distance of the village fields. Agriculture is the primary source of income. Other occupations in Bavojigudem are animal husbandry and live stock. The village of Bavojigudem has no irrigation facility. There is a tank existing, which is breached. Farmers are suffering from loss due to lack of irrigation water. There is no bus facility for this village.

Education of Bavojigudem
The village of Bavojigudem consists of a primary school, which is levelled up to 6th standard. In that school, there are two teachers. Many students who like to go for advanced studies have to move to other places like Mandal, the district headquarters or to neighbouring districts. The village has good road connectivity to the mandal (Maripeda Bangla), as its headquarters.
