Football Club Goa or better known as the Goa FC is co-owned by the business magnate Venugopal Dhoot, the India cricketer Virat Kohli and the Goan businessmen Dattaraj Salgaocar and Shrinivas Dempo. Goan Football Club Pvt. Ltd is the ownership company of FC Goa. The Brazilian Football player Arthur Antunes Coimbra (Zico) is the Manager and the Head Coach of Football Club Goa.
Bidding for Football Club Goa
On 13th April 2014, it was announced that Venugopal Dhoot had won the bidding for the Goa franchise along with Dattaraj Salgaocar and Shrinivas Dempo. On 23rd September 2014, the Indian cricketer Virat Kohli came up as one of the co-owners. The brand ambassador of Football Club Goa is the Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan.
Football Club Goa is the first Indian sports club to launch a satellite TV Channel - FC Goa TV on Videocon D2H. On 20 September 2014 FC Goa officially confirmed Arsenal legend Robert Pires as their marquee player.

Training Ground for Football Club Goa
The training ground for Football Club Goa is at Tilak Maidan located in Vasco da Gama, Goa. The venue hosts matches of the I-League as well as local Goan leagues. Tilak Maidan has the capacity to accommodate 12,000 spectators. In 2014 it has been upgraded satisfactorily to ensure most FIFA standards are maintained. Venugopal Dhoot is the Chairman of Videocon Group and has been its Managing Director since 2005. Virat Kohli is also one of the co-owners. Virat Kohli was the recipient of the ICC ODI Player of the Year Award in 2012. Shrinivas Dempo is the Chairman of Dempo Group of Companies. Dattaraj Salgaocar is the owner and Managing Director of V.M. Salgaocar Group of Companies. Brazilian Football player Arthur Antunes Coimbra (Zico) is the first Manager or Head Coach of Football Club Goa. The club will play their home matches at the Fatorda Stadium in Goa. Fatorda Stadium which is officially known as Jawarharlal Nehru Stadium, is an Indian multi-purpose stadium situated in Margao. Arthur Papas is the assistant coach of Football Club Goa. Hussein Skenderovic is the conditional coach and Mariano Dias is the Head of Youth Development of the team. R Venkatesh and Russell Pinto are physiotherapist and assistant physiotherapist of the team. Rajesh Malgi is the Kit Manager of the team.
