It offers a peaceful place to relax. This beach has the market selling authenticate traditional Goan dishes and is the centre of attraction among the local and inland tourists.

Odxel Beach is a very small beach of Goa, stretching approximately 250 meters in length. It is very pleasant and quite. Odxel Beach is situated near the Bainguinim town of Goa. It is located in North Goa.

Things to do in Odxel Beach
There is a chapel on the right side of the Odxel Beach. The chapel provides a place of worship to the local catholic population in the village. There is also a shrine of Mother Mary here. The residence of the Governor of Goa, the Cabo Raj Bhavan is situated at Dona Paula, which is not very far from here. It is also a home of a historic British war-graves cemetery.

One can visit the Governor"s Palace after taking preceding permission. There is a chapel in the Governor"s house where the locals gather round and offer prayers on every Sunday. The National Institute of Oceanography and the premier institute of oceanic research are situated here. Goa University and the International Centre of Goa are also not too far from Odxel Beach.

Odxel Beach is well-connected to major parts of the country and the world. Buses run from the main bus stand at Panjim directly to Dona-Paula and Bambolim. It generally takes about 30 minutes to travel. Nearest Railway Station is Vasco Da Gama which is 28 kilometres away from Odxel Beach.
