Mansukhbhai Dhanjibhai Vasava was born on June 1, 1957. He began his political career with Bharatiya Janata Party of Gujarat division. Mansukhbhai Dhanjibhai Vasava was elected to 12th Lok Sabha in a bi-election held on 25 November 1998 from Bharuch in Gujarat.

Mansukhbhai Dhanjibhai Vasava was re-elected to the Lok Sabha in consecutive years like 1999, 2004, 2009 and 2014 from the same constituency. He is popular face in Gujarat politics for his honesty, punctuality and the communication style with the mass. After having magnificent victory in Indian General Elections, 2014, he is serving as a Minister of State in Tribal Affairs under the Cabinet Ministry of Narendra Modi.
