In the Virudhunagar district of Tamil Nadu there is a town called Chettiarpatti.The local body of the area is a Panchayat.
According to the 2001 census report, Chettiarpatti has a population of 13,508 where males and females constitute 50% of the population each.12% of the population is under six years of age .The literacy rate of Chettiarpatti is 66% which is higher than the average literacy rate which is 59.5%. Chettiarpati has eleven schools, out of which nine are primary schools and one secondary and higher secondary schools each.
