Chandla is located 25.08° N 80.2° E at an average elevation of about 177 metres (580 feet). Males constitute of about 53% of the population while females comprises of 47% of the population while the population below six years of age is 20%.Chandla has an average literacy rate of 57%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 66% and female literacy of 46%.
