Budhlada is a city as well as a municipal council positioned in the Mansa district in the state of Punjab in India. The exact geographical location of Budhlada is at 29.93° North and 75.57° East.
The average elevation of the city is 211 metres (692 feet) above sea level. The demographical records of the 2001 census record a population of 23,499 in the city. Males and females respectively make up 53% and 47% of the population while there are 13% children less than 6 years of age. The mean literacy rate of 68% is quite higher than the nationwide standard of 59.5%. The male and the female literacy rate is respectively 73% and 62%. During the British rule in India, the city was a British police station.
