In the Chandrapur district in the state of Maharashtra in India lies the city of Brahmapuri. It is also a municipal council.

Going by latitude and longitude, the exact geographical location of the town is at 20.36° North and 79.51° E. The mean elevation of the town is 229.5 metres (753 feet) above sea level. The census of 2001 records a population of 31,200 in Brahmapuri. Males and females respectively make up 51% and 49% of the population. Brahmapuri has an average literacy rate of 76%, which is greater than the national average of 59.5%. The town has 82% literate males and 69% literate females. 12% of the population is less than 6 years of age.
